Travelling with financed vehicle from USA to Canada on H1B Visa

Hello Everyone,

I have a motorcycle that was financed from a bank here in the US and I was planning on doing a road trip in Canada on this motorcycle. This trip is fairly short, less than 20 days. I am on a H1B visa here in the United States and have a Visitor Visa for Canada


If there is anyone here who has travelled into Canada via. road in a loaned/financed vehicle, can you please share your experiences with paperwork at the border? Do we need any letter from the Financial institution giving permission to travel outside the United States with the financed vehicle?

Do you need any special kind of auto insurance to drive the vehicle in Canada?

No issue, you can travel freely you won't be stopped for that.

You might want to check directly with your insurance /finance comny just in case probably not an issue to take into Canada but nobody on here can answer as all insurances are different
