I have been invited to apply for express entry; I've got all my documents ready to submit early next week and my medical has been sent on as well.

I'm intending to go on vacation in mid-April next year. I feel as though I should be OK by then but that there's a chance I might still be waiting on my PR card. Can I still travel abroad without a PR card after landing? if so what documents would I need? I am currently here on a working holiday visa which expires in March.

You will need PRTD to enter Canada.

so just to help me out here...

So if I apply to the ITA this week then what's the likelihood of being able to travel in April? I'm already in the country and working but my Working Holiday Visa expires in March. So I could be on a bridging visa come April as well. Am I right in thinking it's 6 months on average from the ITA to full receiving the necessary documents to land?

Is it possible to travel on a bridging visa and return to Canada?
If I land, but haven't received the PR card...are PRTD documents easy to acquire?

Thanks for all your help and apologies in advance for being clueless :)
