Travelling while visa application is in process

Hello everyone ,

I have applied for spousal work permit just 2 days ago . Would there be any problem to travel outside the country while my application is in process ? (I'm from Iran and I want to travel to South Africa for 3/4 weeks for the purpose of visiting)

1. You know that if you have applied for an "in-Canada" spousal application, that you run the risk of being refused re-entry if you leave? Especially if you require a TRV to enter Canada.

I guess there was a misunderstanding ,

Actually I'm the wife of the person who holds a post graduate work permit , and I'm still in Iran , and I applied for the Open Work Permit . I just applied for it and I'd like to know if there's any problem if there's any problem to travel to South Africa while the visa application in process.
