My wife and I are about to finally get our PR. Our process was through Ontario due to the nomination we received. Here is the thing, we received the email requesting for passport and photos. On step 2 of the email says that if you are a passport holder from a country whose citizens need eTA we would have to submit photocopies of our passports instead of sending the actual ones.
That would be our case but the question is once I send everything can I still travel outside Canada with my passport?
We are going back to our country for christimas only and I’m afraid of sending everything but not receiving before our travel date.
