Travelling to USA after applying for PNP

Hi all,

I've applied for PNP on March 17th 2014. Will it be OK if I leave to USA for 6 days and come back to Ontario as I am planning to attend my sister's Convocation?
Do I need to inform opportunities Ontario after coming back ?

What if I am going back and stay in my original country for a few months？ Will they find out by any means? I have already submitted my PNP application to CIO this March.

Nothing to worry about going back for few months while PNP is applied. Only concern which could be is if application get refused and you dont have visa left to enter the country. I am not lawyer but got the same response when i was travelling in your condition.

Its a response from one of the lawyer in Vancouver. But my question is what is your status in Canada and till what it is valid??

I have a post graduate work permit and it's valid till June2015.
