travelling to INDIA

hello everyone,

I am looking to travel to India this December. I still have a valid work permit for good 16 months but I have also received an ITA under CEC class. I have applied for my PR and sent all the documents already. I am waiting on my COPR from Immigration. Now the question is, is it okay if I travel to India and can I come back from India to Canada if I have a valid work permit and my PR file is in processing. Please if anyone could help me with this, would be great.

You need a valid TRV to return to Canada.

Chances are CEC inland processing will be faster while in Canada.
Get your PR activated then travel to India if it is not an emergency.
