Travelling to home country & re-entry to Canada with study permit

Hello ,

Do I face any difficulties entering Canada if I travel to my home country and then return to Canada while on a study permit or a work permit (PGWP)?
(Taking in consideration my program has 3 years work permit )

For example , some international students in the United States on F-1 student visas, they confront various difficulties when they travel and re-enter the United States.
