Travelling Outside Canada after Citizenship Application??

Hi,

I applied for citizenship in November last year, and my PR card will expire in March 2013. But I am going on an exchange program in UK from September to December this year and I will be back in Canada in January 2013. Do I need to renew my PR card now in this case? My understanding is that I already applied for citizenship and my PR card expires after I come back to Canada, so should be fine if I don't renew it?

If you don't plan on leaving country after March 2013 until your citizenship oath, you might be okay.
