Travelling on a student visa

I am posting on behalf of a friend who travelled outside Canada without the visa stamp. Can you please direct me how he can obtain the visa stamp as they cannot enter Canada without the stamp. They have the permit, but no stamp.

What do you mean? Don't you have Canada visa sticker in your passport?
