Hello Friends,

This might be a stupid question but I think I rather ask so that everything is clear in my mind.
I finished up my landing process last year in july and now i have the PR card with me. I only stayed in vancouver for 1 day and then I returned USA. Now I am planning to permanently move to canada and looking for air tickets to book.
So is the PR card only document I need to show when I land in canada? What other documents might be necessary. Is there anything more i need to know of before i book my ticket.

My second question is I applied through Alberta Provincial Nominee program. and I already have PR card with me. For now I am planning to land toronto first because I have one friend there and dont know anyone in Canada. Later I might move to calgary I am not sure now how things will go. I am curious being an Alberta Provincial Nominee Do I have to land in Alberta first? even though i have PR card or is it OK if I go to Toronto first and then make my planning from there .

I would really really apreciate any reply and advice

Thanks for your reply so I need PR card and Passport which I have.
And i can fly to toronto even though I am Alberta Nominee.

Since you already have the PR card, you will probably not get into any trouble for not settling in AB. The border services only recently started to keep an eye on PNP nominees who they believe do not plan on settling in their PNP province. They put some people under watch and may cancel the PR visa's of others.

If anybody from immigration ever asks you if you intended to settle in AB at the time you applied and landed, you need to say yes. Admitting that you did not intend to at that time would mean that you misrepresented yourself.
