Travelling back home with my CWP?

Hello all,

I have a Closed Work Permit which not expired until May, 2020.
Is there any risk if I travel back home to visit my family and come back to Canada? Please advise.

Yes Bs65, I checked and saw my TRV (which was issued from my country) read as:
No. of Entries: Multiple
W - 1
and it is not expired in May, 2020 (same with my CWP).

Is that mean there is no risk for me to travel back home?

And with my CWP, I know that I have to apply to change to Open Work Permit to work in other field. Do you think I should also apply as a tourist to Canada before my CWP expired in May, 2020?
Which way is the best?
Since I want to work in Canada and become PR later.

You should be fine to return to Canada.

You can't just change to an OWP. OWPs are only issued in very specific circumstances and you have to actually qualify.
