Hi,

Me and my girlfriend are currently in Canada on two separate "programs". I am on the IEC program (includes a work-permit and I can stay up to 12 months. My girlfriend has a temporary work permit (and a job). We are both from a visa-exempt country.

My question regards travelling abroad. Will leaving Canada for a short vacation (could be to the US/Mexico/Caribbean) pose any problems with regards to re-entry or our programs? We would of course return while my IEC and her work permit is still valid and as mentioned, we are from a visa-exempt country.

Thanks in advance.

No, as you don't require TRVs to re-enter Canada.
