Traveling with a TRV

Hi!

I entered Canada in October 2015. to be with my husband who works here as a temporary foreign worker with a work permit valid until July 2017. I was granted a visitor status for 6 months.

In the meantime, I applied for an extension of my status and got a temporary resident status in the validity of his work permit, which is awesome.

We were planning on visiting our familiy in September, but I am wondering will there be any problem on the border while coming back.

On my TRV document it is stated Re-entry in not possible, as it is stated on his work permit.
That statement is a common and normal thing and in my knowledge it is written on every immigration document.
We are from a visa exempt country, which helps, I think.
My husband's friend who is is in the exact same position travelled home for the holidays and came back without any problem.

Does this mean I will too be able to enter Canada again (due to the fact that we are from a visa exempt country and our papers have the validity until July 2017).

Was anyone in the same situation?
I hope you understand my concern!

Thank you!

if its says re entry is not valid, then you only have a single entry visa. you have to apply for new trv so that you can enter Canada again

Thank you for your answer. Yeah, but on a work permit from a friend there is the exact same sentence, and he re entered without any problem whatsoever. That confuses me... Is that because we are from a visa exempt country? When I was entering the country in October, the only thing I needed was my passport. This extendion is just an approval that I can stay longer than stated upon my entrance.

Sorry, I wrote it wrong.
It says: This does not authorize re-entry.
This does not mean I cannot enter, it simply means they will have to re-evaluate my admissability.

Thank you anyway!
