I am planning to travel to USA spend some time their and then travel to Canada from USA by road.
Kindly let me know if I can do that.. if yes, how's the immigration process in this case

What's your situation? Have you applied for PR, or about to apply?... or have you already got PR?

With visitor visa in both countries, you can travel. But entries are not guaranteed.
