Traveling to US on a RTD as Pr Holder

I am thinking of visit to us since i live 5 mins away from a major US city, last time I was in the US was on 2023 on a F1 visa at the age of 17 I was also traveling with my family they were on (b1/b2) visas and we applied for asylumn in Canada since we had family members there fast foward now I discovered under a new waiver program I dont need to attend a interview to get a US visa if i been issued a non immigrant visa that isnt a visitor one and no later than 48 months so I decided to apply my issue is that I dont have a job I am a university student and my parents arent working I have some savings like 500~ for travel and I dont know if credit cards count but what is the likely hood of that to be an issue I am just crossing a border to visit a city and coming back im not visiting a place far away so any advice helps
