Traveling to Canada from India forgot work permit

hi all it’s urgent my husband had a valid work permit he was traveling back to Toronto he was in middle of his flight journey where he left his valid work permit with me and i was in India not traveling back with him. Please help us how to go through with immigration department regarding this bad situation. Please help me thank you

He goes through as normal. CBSA will be able to verify his status in the system and reprint the work permit.
