I Just mailed in the requested information I received last week in my PPR. Hopefully will get COPR soon!! My question is once I get the COPR can I delay officially “Landing” as an immigrant and travel in normally as an American tourist visit first? I ask this because I want my husband at least to be with me at my official landing if not in the room then at least in the same building. We haven’t seen each other in 8 months.... our 1st Anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks and my flight will probably be late at night arriving. It would be nice to spend the night together quietly and get up fresh in the morning and go to the Immigration Services there in Vancouver together. Is this possible or do I HAVE to officially become a Landed Permanent Resident first when I go after getting my COPR.
