Travel visa while applying for spousal reference.

Hello All,

I am a Nov 26th outland applicant from India and my wife is in Canada awaiting our AOR.

This April is our first marriage anniversary and we wish to spend it together in Canada (I dont want to put her through the trouble of traveling alone and missing my wife too much! ).

Is it true that a travel visa is next to impossible to get once a spousal sponsorship application is in progress.
Even if I did apply for a travel visa and it gets rejected on grounds of my spousal sponsorship application being in progress, would it even remotely impact my spousal sponsorship (delays or rejection) ?

Yes, they often rejected, and no, it won't affect it.
