Canada has three types of temporary resident visas (TRVs) - V for visitor, W for Worker and S for student. You can get a visitor visa and can try finding an employer once in Canada but initial work permit/visa applications are done outside Canada.

Hello everyone..newbie here! Just want to ask..do i have any chance of getting a tourist visa even if i have a working visa? I had my working visa january 2012 up to now employer have not process the polo requirement pero nakakausap ko naman..maybe they are just too busy. So im thinking of other ways pra lang matuloy ako sa canada. Any idea as well what are my chances kung sa hongkong ako mag exit pra di na ako masita about poea requirements. Many thanks.
