Hi,
both my common-law partner and our child are Canadian citizens and we want to travel to Canada in December. The purpose is to reunite with her parents (one of them with terminall illness) after more than a year.

So I'm immediate family to a Canadian citizen, which should be ok to travel without an explicit authorization (https://orders-in-council.canada.ca/attachment.php?attach=39612&lang=en).
I have valid eTA.
What I'm unsure about is that I'm not going to reunite with my immediate family in Canada, I want to travel WITH my immediate family to Canada.

Has anyone travelled recently in a similar situation? Is there any authority I can consult this with?

Thank you
