Hi everyone. Need some advice here. I have landed already(at a cic inland office).haven't got my pr card yet. I have a valid work permit and a valid multiple entry visa under that work permit.

The question is can I fly across the border and enter Canada using my passport and multiple entry visa?
Or can I fly across the border using my passport and immigration visa +copr to get back to Canada
Or I simply can't fly cross the border until I have my pr card.

THANKS in advance!

The day you were issued COPR + Single entry visa your Multiple Visa and Word Permit are void. You cannot travel using that. You cannot fly either. If you want to got to States then you can use land border to enter in Canada again but you cannot enter in Canada through airport.

No.

No.

Correct.

THANKS in advance!

As Goku already correctly stated, your work permit and visa became invalid when you completed the landing.
However, you can use your CoPR to enter Canada on a land crossing.

Hope this helps

This is a bit of a stretch but:

- The reason CIC requires a PR Card is because the airlines will not board you if you do not have a visa to the destination country as they will shoulder the A-to-A return flight. However, if you are able to board, then the CBSA may allow you to enter (lots of ifs as the CBSA may have a different idea than the CIC)

So if in case the previous visa was not crossed-out and you are able to board a commercial flight, then there is a chance they can let you enter. This is taking a big risk though. (Aside: I was able to board last time from the US even if they just looked at my WP; this was through UAL at Dulles. I do have a valid visa though which they didn't look at).

Best case: enter by land (private vehicle) from the US Border; get a Travel Document (not sure how long this will take) as pointed out by Toby just so all bases are covered.

Or one way is leave the country. When you are willing to come back, go to USA (if you have visa) then enter in Canada using COPR at land crossing.
