Travel outside Canada during EE processing

Can you please let me know whether submitted application needs to be updated if I travel to another country for short duration 2 weeks while my EE PR application is in process.
I was checking online and could not find any way of adding this information so may be it is not necessary.

AB applicant
as in keeping with IRCC file approved from Nov 7th haven't acquired PPR yet
my paintings allow is set to run out by way of mid of January, must i follow for paintings permit now
