Travel on Canadian citizenship certificate

Hi All,

Please advise :
a) Can I travel on the Canadian citizenship certificate to usa?
b) I have my surname missing in my current passport? Is it advisable to change the name after getting the Canadian passport or should i apply before?
c) Do we know how much time its taking for Canadian passport to arrive these days?

1. No, the CC is not a travel document.
2. Your choice, but you can't apply for the passport in your new name until you complete the name change.
