Hi,
My parents have a valid TRV in their old passport (India), which expires in October 2024. They have recently obtained a new passport valid until 2034. I am planning to apply for a new visa for them, however due to some recent developments, it’s important that they be here soon.
So my question is: if they travel to Canada in mid June with a return ticket for August 2024 (two months before the TRV expires), will they face any issues during immigration? Or is it better to first apply for a new visa and then plan a travel to reduce any risk of denial of entry? The visa In their old passport is intact (ie no holes or markings).
Thanks! Much appreciate any help.
