Travel in Canada with US Driver's license

Hi - I am planning to visit Canada. But, I don't want to carry my passport around. I will be travelling to multiple cities.

Can I travel to other cities with my US driver's license without passport. Does Canada domestic airline / rail / bus transport accept US Driver's license as valid photo ID ?

Thanks for the reply. I will enter with passport. But, I just want to avoid carrying it when traveling around - visiting closeby cities.
