Travel immediately after oath

Hi,
I'm gonna take the oath soon, but I currently live and study in the US.
Does anyone know if I can travel with my old passport after the oath, then apply for the Canadian passport in US?

Assuming you are American or from a country that allows dual citizenship, you can enter US after oath with your current passport. You can apply for Canadian passport while in US. Be aware you have to submit your original citizenship certificate with application in the mail.
