Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have a dual citizenship (1 is my home country and the other is Brazil by descent which I've never been to) but I've used the Brazilian passport to travel to a couple of countries for like 3-4 days. I just got a passport from my home country last year and have only used it for my study permit to Canada. I'm planning on using it for PR as well. My question is:

1- Do I have to mention the 2 countries that I've visited with my Brazilian passport for just a few days?

2- I've renewed the Brazilian passport last year so now it's empty since I've never used the new one. Should I submit scans of the old and new passports?

3- Will having used my home country passport just for Canada cause any complications with my application process?

Thanks a lot.

1. You have to mention both the passports and the travel details. Mention the home country passport as the primary travel document, as you are intending to use for your travel to Canada.
2. Yes you have to submit both old and new passport scans.
3. No, it should not.

A1. Yes, you'll have to mention travels to all the countries, regardless of which passport was used.

A2. You will have to check on this - as you mentioned you want to use the Home country passport for Canada PR. However, submitting scans of both old and new passport won't hurt. In matters of government, more document trail = good!

A3. No, you'll have to perhaps add an LOE (Letter of Explanation) stating that you hold dual citizenship, but will be using your home country passport for Canadian immigration purposes and they'll finally stamp that passport with a Canadian IM-1 (Immigrant) visa.
