Hi,

My dad and i plan visiting my older sister who lived and currently a canada citizen.

Noted that for TRV application require applicant provide travel history for the past ten years outside the country of origin...However, i had lost my previous old passport dated from 2005-2010, but still keep another old passport dated from 2010-2015 and planning to upload the passport dated 2010-2015. May i know will failure to provide travel history from 2005-2010 will reducing my chance on getting the TRV? Do i need to explain to the CIC during online submittion of TRV application? I am working on finding whenever possible of travel support document eg credit card statement, flight confirmation (email) during 2005-2010 but the odds are rare...What should i do if turns out not able to provide travel history from 2005-2010?

Please help...

You do not need to provide support documents for travel history. You only have to mention it. Canada will cross check your info with other sources, so be sure to be accurate on the travel dates and destinations.
