In the list of documents for the full application, here is one of them:

• Provide a travel history list for you and your family members 18 years of age and
older, which includes the date of entry/exit for all the countries visited and the
routing.
Note: Countries of transit must also be listed with entry/exit dates.

What is it that they want? A print on a plain paper giving details of countries visited and enter/exit dates? Or something more than that? I have a notorized photo-copy of the related pages on my passport.

yes what you mentioned is correct... this is waht they want.... just send the details of travel with the duration and the period of stay. that is sufficient

Yup atleast that's what I did. Created a table in MS word with entry and exit date, country travelled to, duration of stay in that country and also mentioned via which airport in case of any transits :)

All the best

Cheers!!!

From CHC - New Delhi there is a seperate sheet they provide later , it is in different format

Can you please provide the format of the sheet for New Delhi

Hi,

There is no problem if you use any kind of format on MS Word, Excel or PDF. or type in a plain paper.
The details should be dates of travels, country, duration of stay, purpose of travel ( ex: tourist, employment, study, pilgrimage, vacation...... etc )

Hi Birbal,

I am not questioning your reply but travel history doc is one of the documents to be submitted to local CHC along with the others mentioned in the checklist. Not sure why you say "From CHC - New Delhi there is a seperate sheet they provide later , it is in different format". If they were to provide a sepearte sheet latter & in a different format why would they mention that in the checklist in the first place with no reference to any sample or link to some sort of specific format sample doc?

I just created a simple MS word (tabular format) and sent it to them. Had no issues.

Plus CHC-New Delhi expects all your doc's in a single package.

Cheers!!!!!

Does this travel history should also include tourist visa for a day travel too ?

yes you have to mentioned everything, tourist, business, student or work permit kind of visit.

Yes, you are correct. I have sent the same in word format with all the details. But when they have asked for MED+RPRF+Passport alongwith that they have asked in different format [bit simple. That includes date of entry and exit, country, and purpose.

When I was working in Singapore ...I have gone to Malaysia around 20-30 times which I don't remember also....all for a single day trip or maximum 2 days trip...do I need to mention all these entries. please let me know.

Do you have a stamp in passport for each trip? If yes then you need to mention it and you can get sates from passport stamps.

Your travel history should map to your passport for sure.

Let us wait for others to comment as well

Hi,
For those who traveled out of country many times can note down the dates of departures and arrivals from the immigration stamps from their passports( including those expired/cancelled). Then make a chronological list out of the details and print. That is what I did and CIC had no further question.

I need to sit and go thorough all stamps and mention it...which is 2 days work for me and another 2 days for my wife's passport.......
