Travel History .. Past residence question

Hi Seniors,

I am filling my ITA application and has come across some situation which many of you would have come.
Need your suggestions for the same.
I am in india now from last 6 months. Previous to that I was in UAE for four years.
So country of residence at that time was UAE.
from UAE during those 4 years I was frequently visiting India. also went to Euro trip and few other countries trip.

So now while filling the history.. What should I fill..

a. Do I need to fill My UAE stay of nearly four years also as a trip
and all trips to india as seperate entries.

b. Or no need to fill this UAE stay as a trip...
and fill only trips to india as seperate entries

or option c.. no need to fill any of these trips .. UAE and India...

Any advice will be of great help..

Follow the directions. It clearly says you don't need to report trips to your country of residence or country of origin.

Hello Brother,
First you are required to give all information regarding your travel history and for that matter you are also required to submit scanned passport copies of any visas issuance and port entries... try to include as much information as possible and it is better to be cautious...

Second You are also required to submit "Police Clearance Certificate" of every country where you stayed for 6 Months or More... So in your case i guess you are required to submit Police Clearance Certificate of UAE and INDIA...

So still I should not put it in the travel history.. ??

yes, I understand that.. but country of residence they are referring to current country of residence or past country of residence also.. ???

btw.. where I can find these direction..

I have got the PCC from UAE .. and currently in process of getting it for India..

I will submit passport also with all visa issuance and port entries..

But the question if .. even if i try to include all trips.. How should I include it..

1. trip a: destination country UAE from date nov 2012 to Oct 2016 (work related.. employment there )
trip b: destination country India from date may 2013 to june 2013 (visiting family in india)
trip c: destination country India from date jun 2014 to jul 2014 (visiting family in india )
and so on..

or
2.
trip a: destination country UAE from date nov 2012 to may 2013 (work related.. employment there )
trip b: destination country UAE from date june 2013 to jun 2014 (work related.. employment there)
trip c: destination country UAE from date jul 2014 to Oct 2016 (work related.. employment there)
and so on..


I have read many other threads also,, have not found any clarity till now..

UAE was your country of residence at the time you travelled. So, any travel record between country of residence and home country is not required.

I reported my initial trip (landing) to Canada, as I wasn't yet a resident.

To answer your earlier question, you do not need to report trips to any country you have resided or your country of origin.

You should mention the first trip to UAE as the landing date. You can say it was for permanent work and residence establishment. This is option 1a.

Any other trips between India and UAE during the time that you were resident of UAE do not need to be reported. Options 1b and 1c are not needed.
