Hello everyone, this forum has been helpful to learn a lot of stuffs for PR application.

I would appreciate if I can get help/clarity on the following query as well :)

Following are details about me and my wife:

Me - Primary applicant
Wife – Dependant
Child – Newborn in Canada
My work Canadian work experience – 2 years (PGWP)
My wife’s Canadian work experience – 3 years (SOWP)
Both of us are currently residing and working in Canada.

EE Profile created March 31st, 2023.
CRS Score – 492
Invitation date – ITA via CEC Inland - April 12th, 2023.
Documents submitted – June 6th, 2023.
Received AOR – June 7th, 2023.

Me and my wife waited to get our PCC from India finally got one that’s dated 18th May 2023.

While we were waiting to get rest of documents from our employer, my wife’s family had an emergency in India, and she had to travel to India with baby before submission of documents.

I went ahead gathered all document and submitted to IRCC on June 5th, 2023.

She is planning to return by end of July 2023, should I call IRCC or raise a webform to let them know about her travel?

- Some of them say PCC is invalid since she left Canada before PR application.
- Some say it’s valid, but you need to inform IRCC about her travel.

Not sure what’s the right thing to do, really confused about this, kindly help.

PCC is not invalid and her traveling would not affect that. If she left Canada before the documents where submitted I agree that you should inform IRCC via webform. However, if she travelled after submission then you don't have to say anything to IRCC. That's all you need to do, if they require more information, they will ask for it.
