Dear all,

This is with regard to the application for travel document. I landed just 3 months ago but had to leave Canada before I get my PR card. I called the immigration call centre and they advised me to apply for a travel document to get back into the Canada.

I was going to fill out the forms to apply for a travel document but got confused about the permanent residency obligation. Apparently, I have not been enough in the Canada (less than 3 months). Does it mean that I can not apply for a travel document anymore? If not, then what should i do?

Will appreciate your help
thx

Yes you can apply for a travel document as you have to reside in Canada for 2 years in every 5 years. As you only "landed" 3 months ago, you are still able to reside for 21 months in the next 4 years and 9 months.
