Travel document processing times in India

Hi friends,

I would like to know what is the processing time for PR travel document in India . I have applied on March 29th and I don't have any update as of now. My flight is on April 19th I am wondering if I can get travel document by that time.

I am also in similar situation and has to travel to India with 30 days there. So wondering if 20-25 days are enough to get Travel document from CIC Delhi. What was your experience?

same situation my friend... landed Feb 2nd... no PR card yet... soon it will be 90 days... i booked my flight to travel to India for May 2nd hoping by then I would have received the card as per the Processing time on CIC website...

I have called CIC once every week for the past 3 weeks and all i get to hear from them is that there has been some error at the production department and I should receive my card by second week of May and how much of that will actually happen as they say no one knows... unfortunately the second week of May is not good enough as i have my flight before that...

therefore i would hve to apply for PRTD from VFS Delhi...

This gives me some relief and hope that 2 weeks is consistent. Never know about CIC.

anybody know how long is PRTD valid...? could it be applied right away after travelling out of Canada even if you have 60 days in hand?
