Travel Document from Pakistan? - URGENT, thanks

Hi everyone,

I am living in Canada and will be visiting Pakistan by end of this month. I got my PR in JAN 2016 so I don't have my PR card yet. As per the processing times, it normally takes 3-4 months to get the very first PR card. So my question is, if I leave Canada this month and apply for the Travel Document in Pakistan with the attachment of the copy of my Confirmation of Permanent Residence document, then how early I can get this Travel Document?

My plan is to stay there for just two weeks. So can I get the Travel Document within two weeks from Pakistan to come back to Canada?

First of all, you should contact VFS or Canadian embassy in Pakistan regarding Processing times.
In my case takes only 5 days to received PRTD.

PRTD is a visa stamp on passport, only single entry visa and valid for 6 months.

You have to confirm with the local embassy. It varies country to country.

I also tried calling the embassy but no one picked the call. I confirmed with one of VAC (Lahore) representative about the casual timeline and she said it will take around 90 days to get the Travel Document. So I think I have to postpone my plan for now and wait for the PR card.
