Hello,

Can someone please tell me how soon can a refugee mother travel after a childbirth to Canada? Any experience? Any rule?

Will the visa office put on hold the "Quarantine Plan" and "Decision Made" for a specific period of time after interview and medical are passed?

The baby will need documents and a visa or accepted refugee status which will likely delay everything.

Thank you so much for your response. I wanted to know if there is an IRCC policy for the time limit to travel after child birth, like, a person can travel after a week if its normal delivery and it is at least 20 days if its c-section.

I don't think there is such policy but you should consult your Doctor...

No policy but not being able to travel with your new child would likely be the major issue.
