Travel abroad before landing to Canada after visa is issued.......

Good morning to all forum member, I would like to hear from anyone bout my problem.
If ever i would travel to Singapore for work this coming November and the Canadian Embassy issued my Visa this October, is there any complication or question if I go first to work in Singapore before landing in Canada.
Need your advice regarding this matter.

There is no connection between the countries you want to visit. When you get a immigration visa, you must land in Canada before the expiration of your visa, and it does not matter where go and for how long your stay will be.

Exactly what I was gonna write, BUT . . . (there's an elephant in the room) . . . May we ask "why do you want to work in Singapore before landing (and working) in Canada?" I'm told the salaries there are even less than Hong Kong.

Una sa lahat, maraming salamat sa pagsagot ng katanungnan ko. Actually, sa Singapore talaga ang trabaho ko.
Docking crew ako sa isang shipping ng mga Tug boats for supply and rescue. Engine works mostly, ang ginagawa ko.
May upcoming emegency job kmi ngayong November at tumawag na yong amo ko na Australiano to confirm if my passport is already at my hand and if I am able to fly to Singapore for the said job. In doubt kaya nag-ask me sa inyo mga ka-forum member ko to clear up things. Iniisip ko kasi baka maging issue pa yong pag punta ko sa Singapore once na nag-land me sa Canada by December. Minsan kasi di natin maiwasan iba yong takbo ng isip ng mga immigration officer kaya nagseek me ng advice sa inyo and Salamat ng marami sa inyong mga kasagutan.
