As read in the subject, do I have to report this if I travel in place outside my country of origin or of residence after I submit my application?

I'm from China, living and working in Canada now. I will be submitting application in November and going to visit my boyfriend's family in Malaysia in Dec. Do I have to report this after I come back next year?

I don't think so. I applied in Dec 2011 and went to India in Feb 2012 and came back in Mar 2012. I didn't report it.

No, unless an updated travel history is requested. Not likely, but possible.
