Translation of Social Media Conversations

My spouse recently passed her medicals. Shortly after we have received an email from the VO to send more proof of contact between my spouse and myself.

They specifically asked for communication that happened after the application was initially sent (Nov 2017) to present.

My question is, do social media chats such as Facebook messages need to be translated and certified?
