Dear members, please help me with this dilemma. If you have documents in a foreign language do you need to translate them to english by a professional and then certify the translation at a notary office? Or having the translation without certifying it at a notary is enough for IRCC? Please note that notary's certificate will be in the original language since im doin the translation in a country where english is not the official language. Also notaries cannot verify the translation, they can only verify the signature of the translator. Do I then go back and translate notaries statement? Its like a neverending circle.
