I have a question in regards to translation of documents in Oman. I need to translate a birth certificate and my degree . When I applied at the canadian medical council for an ECA, they rejected the translation I sent, even though it was done by a registered translation office here, with stamp of the translator, his signature, and attested by chamber of commerce and ministry of foerign affairs. Reason MCC mentioned was that they didnt write ( this is a true translation of the original document). Anyways i paid the MCC to do the translation.
Now seen as I have to upload a translation of my degree again in my EE application, as well as few other documents, i am worried they might reject it for the same reason.
Has anyone done that from Oman?
Would appreciate your input

I would appreciate any input. The problem is in obtaining an affidavit. Notary public services are all in arabic here. Embassies will offer affidavit to their citizens only. Any idea on how to solve this issue? Has any one submitted translations without affidavite?
