Hello,

I submitted my complete PR application back in November/December. I got the request to carry out my medical exam and provide biometrics. Both were submitted and approved.

Now I got an update saying that they are now "processing my application" and that in order to make a decision, they need additional documents within the next 14 days. This was 5 days ago.
1. Pay slips from all the employers stated in my application. I only need pay slips from one employer. I am not sure whether they will be able to provide me with some so I'm already thinking about how to provide alternative pay evidence... Also I'm not sure how many pay slips they expect to be submitted as it is not specified... I got 2 pay slips from my current employer translated from Dec 2023 and Dec 2024. I wonder if this is enough...
2. They also asked for bank account statements showing the last 6 months of transactions, including wage deposits of my current employer. This is the tricky part as I've tried to request them from my bank in English or French (French is one of the official languages in Belgium) but they seem to be unable to provide statements in a language other than Dutch. This is a problem because the statements are 86 pages long. To have them translated would cost me at least 990 CAD/635 euros, which seems unreasonable. It would also take time to have all those pages translated and time is ticking. I am currently still waiting for my bank to let me know if they can provide it or not, as I received mixed signals from different employees.

Is there any other way to provide bank account statements without having to pay that much money for a translation of 86 pages? Would it be OK to translate 1 month and additional information for example? I am quite stressed about this...

Also would it be OK for me to submit bank account statements from when I got employed by the organisation I can't get pay slips from (this was in the UK so the bank statements are in English)? I also have prints from the HMRC website which lists the income from the different employers per year...

Could anyone help me with this please?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Can't you translate them yourself ? (assume IRCC did not specify if you need professional translation)

Unfortunately yes.

I think I have found a translating company who’s a bit more affordable. I’m waiting for them to find a translator for my project to go through with it. I only have a week left to submit the documents.

Yes
Try Mosaic translation services, they are affordable than others. I am not sure about timelines.
