Some Information..
passport : china passport
identify as L-2(student)
both visa and passport about to expire after 2017 july, in auguest.

Appoxi. travel plan

back beijing, china at 2017-5-26, transit in yyz, Toronto Pearson International Airport,(air canada)
back atlanta, U.S. 2017-7-18, same transit in yyz, air canada.(over night)

I think i will need one transit visa for 2017-7-18 flight..
1. what visa should i apply,a torist visa or transit visa( cause first flight (atl to pek) probably don't need visa)?
2. if a transit visa is needed, do i need a interview at embassy?
3. is there any possible to have one transit visa for these two trips? (or i also need to apply an eta for first trip)

Read here for the China Transit Program: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/china.asp

Going to China: no need to apply for a visa if you will wait at Terminal 1 (since you are taking Air Canada)

Going back to the US: if you are leaving the airport for your overnight stay, you need to apply for a TRV for transit

As a Chinese passport holder, you don't qualify for ETA.

I am not familiar if transit visas can be issued for multiple entries, but you may have a good chance of qualifying for a multiple-entry visitor visa anyway, so that is the safest option.

I believe if your passport was issued by Hong Kong (just in case this applies to OP's case), you qualify for ETA.

My previous posts were because I assumed you meant People's Republic of China, and not ROC Taiwan. If you did mean ROC Taiwan, then there is 1 possible case where you qualify for ETA.

Unfortunately, I am coming from China ( the peoples republic of China) ,so I probably not eligible for Eta.

By the way, is there any possible that I apply this visa before I purchase a ticket ?? Ask air Canada ticket partner to give me an prove ?

Yes, it is actually advised to NOT purchase plane tickets before you apply for a visa. You can still attach the intended itinerary/schedule from online or your travel agent with your application.

Update

Update:

just called air Canada, giving me a same price but no visa needed flight.

so, any one know how to write a letter which follow those rules??

Minors travelling alone

Minors (under 18 years of age) travelling alone or with a person other than their parents or legal guardians should have a letter of authorization, preferably in English or French, signed by both parents or legal guardians. It should also include the name of the adult who will be responsible for the children in Canada.

and also do i need other document than my China Passport, U.S visa, airline ticket, letter of authorization to pass both border check ( from ATL to PEK, PEK to ATL, no U.S visa or China Visa Problems) ?

Thanks,

Steven.Z
