transit visa requirements- pls help

hi all

i am planning to go to Canada soon, so one query on transit visa
I am exploring various options from India to Canada and need help to know if i need transit visa for below.
i got pr stamped on passport so plannig to leave soon.

1) thru brussel, thru jfk airport or any othwr airports in Usa
2) thru monteral , quebec - i knkw this may not require transit visa but would like to know if this is advisable.
i would like to know if my immigration will be done at monteral. and if yes, will that create any other issues: my final destination will be toronto.

U need transit visa for US.
The immigration will happen at Montreal. I don't see that as a issue.

in addition to normal documentation(like education certi, wes, ielts score, passport, etc..) and proof of funds, do i need to carry additonal docs? or take care of any specific points?

COPR required. Also you need to provide canada address for PR card delivery while landing.

Avoid going to US unless you have a United States visa.
You may go through another country provided you are in the airport premises.
Montreal is fine and you should have a Canadian address for the PR card to be sent to you.
try to keep your paperwork for what you had submitted with the application. organized and bookmarked.

Avoid US if you can. Montreal should be perfectly fine.
