it varies. These days on average its around 25 days, but can be up to 35 to 40 days. You should get a response soon.

today i got update on my profile status UPDATE
when i checked they have changed
back ground check : Not applicable
before it was we are processing your back ground check
kindly let me know what does that mean

It means the visa office does not believe there is a need to continue/do a background check. You must wait for the 'Final decision' status to change
is this a negative sign ?
usually what happen next if this status changes to not applicable ?
