Hello Everyone,

I lost my password for my GC key in which I had received nomination recently from Ontario and an ITA as well.

Is it possible to transfer the Nomination to a new GC key? If yes, how can I do it and how much time will it take? I have the confirmation of nomination certificate already from Ontario.

Thanks for all ur help!

I may be wrong here but I don't think you can do this. Just because you can't access your old profile because you forgot your username and password, the old profile exists in the system. I think it is impossible to have 2 profiles with exactly the same information in the EE profile and exactly the same PNP letter of Interest information.

Happy to be told I'm wrong.

So this means I have recover my old password only? Is there no option to transfer the nomination?

Thanks!

Try and recover your password. Check everywhere. Maybe you wrote it down on a sheet of paper, maybe its on a notebook somewhere. I think if you did create another profile you would need to wait until a Province sends you a 'Letter of Interest'.

Does CIC send us the username/password when we create a CIC account?

Raise a CSE and mention your EE number, passport number, name, date of birth and request cic for your username.

Once you have the username, go to forgot password and get the new one.

Google Case specific enquiry cic, and you will see a link. Fill the form with your details and if required attach a copy of your passport.

I do not gurantee success via this, but its worth a try. Remember the cse queries takes 10 to 15 days to respond.

There is an option "Forgot your passwords?" in GCKey Sign in page. Did you try to retrieve it by using this link?

While the obviously easy solution is to figure out the Username/Password, it is possible to transfer the nomination to a fresh EE profile by writing to the nominating province. However, I imagine it isn't possible to transfer the ITA. Even after successfully transferring the nomination to another profile, the OP will have to wait for another draw to receive a fresh ITA.

Recommend that the OP wait for a few days to see if the Username/Password issue can be resolved and, if it fails, then create a fresh EE profile followed by a request to their nominating province to transfer their PN to the new profile.

How easy will it be to transfer the Nomination from Ontario to a fresh profile? I would need to send them my nomination certificate?

Thanks.

You would need to send them your old EE profile number, inform them about the circumstances and request them to transfer the nomination to your new EE profile.

I believe SINP gives the option of resending the nomination in cases where the Express Entry profile has expired before receiving ITA, which I've seen happen to a few people here. If this is the case, it's possible other provinces do too.

Possibly your nomination certificate number (which corresponds to your OINP file number) and old and new EE profile numbers and job seeker validation codes, the latter of which they need to send an electronic nomination.

I am not able to recover my password. In case I make a new profile and add my Nomination certificate number will I get the 600 points in my new profile? or do I email Ontario with all the Information? As they would take around 2 weeks to reply.
