Transferring money from Indian bank account to Canadian Bank account

Hello. I got my COPR and we will be moving to Canada in March. As per the requirement, we need to show $15800 equivalent in Indian rupees in the bank account as proof of funds.
My question is after we settle how do we transfer money from the bank account to the Canadian bank account? How long does the transfer take? Are there any fees charged?

Most banks support international wire transfer using online interface.
You can also load money in a forex card.
If you are hard landing, there are some tax residency implications.
