Transferring 1 year program to 2 yr program

I do need help early

I got visa for 8 month certificate program but I got admission in 2year program now should I apply now as my college international advisor are advising me to apply now.what should I do now.should I apply for extension now as my visa and student permit going to expire on July 2015.what document should I apply with?? Please help me soon

Yeah if you can apply now, it's good.
Otherwise you can apply before the final exams.

I did the same but I haven't applied for the extension of study permit yet.
