Transfer to local office means approved?

Hello friends,

I Just called CIC now and they said my file has been transferred to my local office, I asked him if it has been approved, he said it is not written, but the RQ has been reviewed, does that mean it is waiting for oath schedule or a judge interview at the local office?

Transfer to local office usually means things are a go for the final stages. Local Office handles all Test and Oath invites. I do suggest you do what moti mentions above and order an ATIP which takes about 30 days to arrive, it will give you details on what was entered.

- if you are over the age of 54 then you will see a judge/CIC Officer
- if you are NOT over the age of 54 then you will be invited for a test
- there are times when the local office request additional information before inviting for a test/interview which ever one that applies to you.

Only local office grant the final approval - In your case whereas you already taken the test and now awaiting oath - your file would have been transferred to local office long before you took that test.
