Transfer school mistake

I did a mistake by submitting the transfer school option and putting in my new dli. I don't which to transfer after knowing that I will need to get a new study permit since I am outside Canada. I intend to study at my current university and not transfer. Should I inform ircc about my mistake? Please let me know what should I inform them and to what extent.
Please help me out.
I haven't received anything yet from ircc regarding my request.

So you have an approved study permit or your application is still being reviewed. If haver permit, raise another webform and say you now aren’t transferring. Not sure what else you can do.

I already have a study permit approval and did not know about the new rule about changing DLI outside Canada.I have raised a web form and informed them that I don't want to transfer and continue at my current DLI. Should I do something else or just wait. Will there be any repercussions based on what you know? I have been studying for about a year remotely outside Canada.

Can you transfer back to your current DLI on your CIC account?
