I hold a BA in Digital films & tv and i'm an iranian living in malaysia for the past 6 years. I wanna move to canada to work and ultimately apply for a PR but i don't really have any of the requirements to apply directly for a PR at the moment so i need to know what is the best scenario for me to apply.
1. Should i apply for a Master degree of Arts and continue studying in Canada and if so, would it be possible for me to apply for either TR or PR after or during the time i study there?! ps. i didn't find anywhere offering for MA in video editing when i researched.
2. Should i apply for one of the programs that is needed in Canada in diploma level or degree level and if so then how would that work to my benefit in the future considering that i would want to work and apply for PR ultimately ?!
3. The truth is i would rather work right away but i don't think i'd have the chance yet to apply for work permit(visa) as i have a few work experiences at the moment. nevertheless if i can just apply for a short course to just improve my skills and then apply for work permit from there, it will the best scenario but then again would i be able to apply for PR anytime soon ?!
I would really appreciate your advice as with the situation in Iran, i can't and don't want to go back. plus if i do, i would have to join the military service - I'm also sort of done with malaysia. Had an amazing time but need to move on to the next phase.
